- What is the origin of the Company name "Nihon Shashin Insatsu"?

Nissha's Japanese company name is "Nihon Shashin Insatsu" which was derived from the fact that Kyoto City serves as a center of education in Japan ("Nihon"), and the ambitiousness of attempting photographic printing ("shashin insatsu"), which at the time required advanced techniques.
The philosophy of our founder Naoki Suzuki, "Anybody can do type printing. Let's do high class printing which no other company does.", can be also be seen in our company name. - Where can I find information about group businesses?

About Business and Management Strategy
- What is Nissha's main business?

Nissha runs the 3 businesses of Industrial Materials, Devices and Information and Communication. The Industrial Materials business is centered on decorative technology for beautiful expression on the surfaces of various products including IMD, which carries out design transfer at the same time as the formation of the plastic.
FineTouch (touch panel) is the core product of the Devices business and is used in a wide range of applications including portable gaming gears and mobile phones.
Information and Communication business support the communication strategies of our customers totally by combination of various medias, including in-store point-of-purchase displays, web site, and planning and managing campaigns, as well as paper-based printing.
